Giggle Galaxy: Medium-Sized Agility Layout
Giggle Galaxy is a medium-sized Blue Imp agility playground that links a main structure to several connected circuits and ground-level routes. A long overhead rope climber, a ring ladder, a flower-shaped net climber, a sunflower climbing panel and stepping pods keep kids moving, while a low double slide and a high single slide finish the routes. The layout covers about 2,729 sq ft. It is offered with 3.5" or 5" posts and with plastic or steel slides. It is made in Medicine Hat, Alberta, to CSA Z614. Cedar Pointe
Cedar Pointe is a CedarScape challenge circuit that turns lava-tag play into a nature-themed course. Cedar climbers, balance features, steppers and rope elements are laid out so children can move from one piece to the next without touching the ground. The layout covers about 1,590 sq ft with a perimeter of roughly 141 ft. It is made in Alberta from cedar with steel-core rope and built to CSA Z614. Crossbar Circuit
Crossbar Circuit is a high-energy fitness playground from Blue Imp, built to push school-age kids. The overhead course strings together accessible rings, chinning rings, a criss-cross ring ladder, an Ogopogo glider, and a 20-foot cantilevered glide ride, while parallel bars, a turning bar, and a network climber build strength and balance. Designed for ages 5–12 to CSA Z614 and ASTM F1487 standards, manufactured in Alberta and shipped across North America, with installation by BDI Play Designs in Alberta and Eastern BC.
School-Age Inukshuk & Ship Playground
This school-age structure has two big rope-net pyramid climbers beside two straight slides, a climbing wall and a ladder climber. Overhead rings, a squiggle climber and linked decks add more to climb. It is laid out for school-age children. The version shown is built on 5" posts. Live it Up!
Live it Up! (model S21-13) is a tall structure with two curvy tube slides, a slanted cargo net, a wheel-shaped net climber and a funnel-shaped rope climber. Overhead rings and a ring bar off one end add upper-body play. It is offered with 3.5" or 5" posts and with plastic or steel slides. It is made in Medicine Hat, Alberta, to CSA Z614. Ocean Surf
Ocean Surf (model S20-09) has two curvy slides off a twin-tower structure, a wavy zig-zag climber, a cargo net between curved posts and a rope bridge. Stepping pods and a decorated climbing panel add ground-level play. It is built on 3.5" posts and offered with plastic or steel slides. It is made in Medicine Hat, Alberta, to CSA Z614. School-Age Climbing Wall & Overhead Rings Playground
This school-age structure is a net and ring agility course, with curved-arm cargo nets, a hoop climber, overhead rings and a rope-and-plank ladder. Perforated climbing panels, a balance beam and stepping pods link the challenges, with a short slide at one end. It is laid out for school-age children. The version shown is built on 3.5" posts. SteelCore DreamWeaver™
The SteelCore DreamWeaver™ 3, a modern multi-dimensional net climber designed and engineered by BDI Play Designs, includes 4 unique planar-net climbing events, two rock-climbing walls with a suspension bridge crossing between them, and two walls of suspended rubber climbing spheres for a unique challenge. This climber can be functionally linked to the rest of the playground allowing for interconnected grounders and lava-tag-friendly design layouts. The 'With Slide' configuration adds an enclosed stainless-steel tube slide that curves down from the top of the climber, offering children a quick exit after the climb.
CedarScape TimberCube
The CedarScape TimberCube is a 108"-high net climber framed in planed 8x8 cedar timbers with oversized decorative steel brackets. Children climb, crawl and weave through the 20 mm SteelCore nylon rope net inside the cube, choosing their own route up and across. The timbers are finished with a UV-resistant stain, and all hardware is stainless steel. It is made in Alberta and designed to CSA Z614. SteelCore Typhoon
The SteelCore Typhoon is a rotating rope climber. Its spinning rope frame carries hanging climbing panels and rubber climbing spheres, so children climb and balance while the whole structure turns. It is part of BDI's SteelCore rope systems, made in Alberta and built to CSA Z614. SteelCore rope has a steel core inside a nylon cover. The line is designed to last over 20 years, and nets are made in sections so a damaged part can be replaced on its own. The Typhoon is aimed at ages 5 to 12. CedarScape TimberCafe
The CedarScape TimberCafe combines a rope climber with a café-themed play space. Children can climb the 20 mm steel-core nylon rope, then gather in the café area to serve, order and role-play together. The frame is built from UV-stained 8x8 cedar timbers with stainless steel hardware. It is made in Alberta and built to CSA Z614. Pairing climbing with pretend play gives the piece appeal for a wide range of children. It fits beside the TimberCube and other cedar pieces in a natural-look playground. Wave Catchers Duo
The Wave Catchers Duo brings a minimal, modern architectural look to a ninja or agility course. It is part of BDI's SteelCore line, made in Alberta and built to CSA Z614. It comes in three versions: Duo (SC5438), which pairs a junior and a senior piece; Junior Only (SC4545); and Senior Only (SC4544). A site can order the pair together or add just one piece to an existing course. It fits beside other SteelCore rope and agility pieces in a school or park playground. Triple Peak
Triple Peak is a set of three A-frame rope net climbers topped with snow-capped mountain panels. Children climb up one face and down the other, moving from peak to peak. Its sister piece, Lone Peak, is the same climber as a single A-frame. Blue Imp rates it for ages 5 to 12, and it is IPEMA-certified. The overall footprint is about 18 x 30 ft (per Blue Imp). Lone Peak
Lone Peak is an A-frame rope net climber topped with a snow-capped mountain panel. Children climb up one face and down the other, and it fits in a small space. For a bigger challenge, Triple Peak joins three of these frames together. Blue Imp rates it for ages 18 months to 12 years, and it is IPEMA-certified. Zig Zag Web Wall (IMP)
The Zig Zag Web Wall is a climbing wall with a rope web strung in a zig-zag frame. Children climb up and across the web, choosing their own route. This version is built for Blue Imp's IMP post system. Blue Imp rates it for ages 5 to 12. The overall footprint is about 16 x 24 ft (per Blue Imp). SteelCore Flying Fin
The SteelCore Flying Fin (SC2552) is a freestanding playground net climber designed and engineered by BDI Play Designs in Alberta, Canada. A 16-foot-wide arch of 5-inch steel pipe leans at an angle to just over 9 feet high, strung with 20 mm steel-core playground rope in a radiating web around a central 3-foot stainless-steel ring. Kids have fun trying to keep their balance as they make their way across the angled net, or use it as a perch point to hang out with their friends, and several children can climb at once. The Flying Fin installs in-ground on concrete pilings and is designed to CSA Z614. Pair it with the SteelCore DreamWeaver™ or SteelCore Typhoon for a complete SteelCore rope-climbing zone.
Apex Rock & Rope
Apex Rock & Rope connects two Apex™ boulders with a rope bridge suspended under a steel arch. Children cross from one summit to the other, testing balance and confidence, and can climb the rocks themselves from several sides. The piece measures 60" high, 60" long and 48" wide. The boulders are cast in Alberta from glass fibre reinforced concrete (GFRC), and the assembly weighs about 6,000 lb. It meets CSA Z614. Twisted Tower
The Twisted Tower is a climber made of two curved posts twisting around each other, with a rope net between them. Children climb up through the net.
