Giggle Galaxy is a medium-sized Blue Imp agility playground that links a main structure to several connected circuits and ground-level routes. A long overhead rope climber, a ring ladder, a flower-shaped net climber, a sunflower climbing panel and stepping pods keep kids moving, while a low double slide and a high single slide finish the routes. The layout covers about 2,729 sq ft. It is offered with 3.5" or 5" posts and with plastic or steel slides. It is made in Medicine Hat, Alberta, to CSA Z614. Cedar Pointe
Cedar Pointe is a CedarScape challenge circuit that turns lava-tag play into a nature-themed course. Cedar climbers, balance features, steppers and rope elements are laid out so children can move from one piece to the next without touching the ground. The layout covers about 1,590 sq ft with a perimeter of roughly 141 ft. It is made in Alberta from cedar with steel-core rope and built to CSA Z614. Tiny Timber
Tiny Timber is a small toddler structure with a single deck, a curvy wave slide and a perforated incline climber up the front. A leaf-shaped canopy on a tall post adds shade and a woodland look, and a play panel at deck level gives little ones something to explore. Blue Imp rates it for ages 18 months to 5 years. The overall footprint is about 22 x 23 ft (per Blue Imp). It is offered with 3.5" or 5" posts and with plastic or steel slides. It is made in Medicine Hat, Alberta, to CSA Z614. Driftwood Den
Driftwood Den is a roofed playhouse-style structure for the youngest crowd. Under its slatted roof sit a small table with stools and an activity panel with a bead counter and spinner, and a ring climber hangs off one side for a little upper-body play. Toonie Track
Toonie Track is a compact upper-body and balance circuit built around a big round overhead ring ladder with a spiral climber rising through the middle. Kids can cross on the overhead rungs, scale the twisting climber, step up on the angled step platforms and finish on the free-swinging glider bar off one side. River Run
River Run is a large round splash pad, about 80 ft across. A tipping bucket on a tall frame, palm-tree sprays, a rainbow arch, sprayers and ground jets are spread across the pad, so several groups can play at once. Its size suits a town's main spray park. Tidewater
Tidewater is a peanut-shaped splash pad of about 2,000 sq ft with two tall overhead features: a pink mushroom-style shower and a yellow tower with tipping buckets. Sprayers and ground jets fill the rest of the pad. It gives older children big overhead soakers and leaves room for younger ones at ground level. The SteelCore DreamWeaver™ 3, a modern multi-dimensional net climber designed and engineered by BDI Play Designs, includes 4 unique planar-net climbing events, two rock-climbing walls with a suspension bridge crossing between them, and two walls of suspended rubber climbing spheres for a unique challenge. This climber can be functionally linked to the rest of the playground allowing for interconnected grounders and lava-tag-friendly design layouts. The 'With Slide' configuration adds an enclosed stainless-steel tube slide that curves down from the top of the climber, offering children a quick exit after the climb.
CedarScape TimberCube
The CedarScape TimberCube is a 108"-high net climber framed in planed 8x8 cedar timbers with oversized decorative steel brackets. Children climb, crawl and weave through the 20 mm SteelCore nylon rope net inside the cube, choosing their own route up and across. The timbers are finished with a UV-resistant stain, and all hardware is stainless steel. It is made in Alberta and designed to CSA Z614. Gyra Spinner
Gyra is a gyroscope-shaped spinner. Children can hang on the outside of the cage or sit on the seat inside while it turns. The rounded cage gives extra support to younger or more cautious children, and the large opening makes it easy to get in and out. Blue Imp rates it for ages 18 months to 12 years, and it is IPEMA-certified. The overall footprint is about 16 x 16 ft (per Blue Imp). It is built to CSA Z614 and made in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Apex Rock & Rope
Apex Rock & Rope connects two Apex™ boulders with a rope bridge suspended under a steel arch. Children cross from one summit to the other, testing balance and confidence, and can climb the rocks themselves from several sides. The piece measures 60" high, 60" long and 48" wide. The boulders are cast in Alberta from glass fibre reinforced concrete (GFRC), and the assembly weighs about 6,000 lb. It meets CSA Z614. Cobble™
Cobble™ is a small Apex™ boulder from BDI's StoneWood concrete play line, made in Alberta to CSA Z614. At 32" high, 36" long and 26" wide, it is sized to bridge the gap between lower platforms, climbers and other play features, or to be set in a group as a stepping path. It is cast from glass fibre reinforced concrete (GFRC) and weighs about 700 lb, with a realistic rock texture that children can step on, climb and balance across. Because GFRC holds up to weather and wear, it suits nature-themed playgrounds that need a low-maintenance natural look. Stainless Steel Spiral Slide
The Stainless Steel Spiral Slide is a 9-foot-high enclosed tube slide from BDI's SteelCore line, built in Alberta to CSA Z614. The spiral wraps around a central post, so it gives a long, fast ride in a small footprint and stands out as a feature piece on any site. The slide bed and side walls are 16 ga stainless steel sheet, capped with 1" galvanized steel tubing. Support legs are 2-3/8" galvanized pipe, and the centre post and top support are 3-1/2" 8 ga galvanized tube. The platform fences combine square steel tube, galvanized pipe, 3/4" UV-stabilized HDPE side panels and aluminum accent plates. Rails, legs and fences are finished in a durable polyester powder coat. The Big Bucket is a tipping-bucket feature for splash pads. Water slowly fills a bucket at the top of two curved posts until it tips and dumps onto a splash plate and everyone standing underneath. The Mega Bucket is Nirbo's largest tipping bucket, standing 18 ft tall on a four-legged frame. A big bucket fills at the top, tips over and pours down a sloped splash plate onto the play area below, for a much bigger soak than a standard bucket. Five Tumbling Buckets is a centre-post feature with five coloured buckets on arms around the top. Each bucket fills, tips and pours a stream of water down, so there is always water falling somewhere around the post. Children can run in and out underneath, and the 11.5 ft height makes it a landmark in the middle of a splash pad. Hexagon Steel Gazebo
Part of the BDI Steel Collection. The Hexagon Steel Gazebo gives parks, schools and community spaces a landmark gathering place with a classic six-sided roofline. Six powder-coated steel posts carry a 6:12 pitched hip roof that meets at a single peak, leaving the space underneath open on every side for picnic tables, seating, events and outdoor classes.
