Commercial Playground Swings
Swinging is the single most-used activity on most playgrounds, and BDI Play Designs supplies commercial playground swings as complete swing sets, add-on bays, and replacement seats.
Frames come as single-bay, multi-bay, arch, and single-leg designs — multi-bay frames are the simplest way to scale capacity at a busy school without adding footprint. Seat options include belt seats for school-age children, bucket and tot seats for toddlers, accessible seats with harnesses for children who need trunk support, tire and saucer seats for group swinging, and T-bar and U-swing seats for cooperative play.
Swings need more clear space than any other event: the fall zone extends twice the pivot height in front of and behind the swing, and no other equipment can sit inside it. Getting that right at the design stage is usually what determines how many bays a site can actually hold.
Every frame and seat meets CAN/CSA-Z614 and ASTM F1487. Replacement seats, chains, and hangers ship direct so a maintenance crew can service an existing set without a contractor. Made in Alberta, shipped across Canada and the United States.
Zoomerang

This track-style commercial zipline is built tough for heavy public use and features a ramped starting platform, comfortable rubber seat and smooth back-and-forth ride. As kids zoom across the playground, they build balance, coordination and confidence while enjoying a fun sensory-rich play experience that encourages social interaction and active play.
CedarScape Swing Frame
The CedarScape Swing Frame is a cedar log swing frame with swivel hangers that accept standard commercial swing seat packages. Each bay holds up to two seats. It comes as a 1-bay frame (CS5555) or a 2-bay frame (CS2532). The logs are finished with a UV-resistant stain, and the frame is made in Alberta and designed to CSA Z614. The frame gives a swing set the same natural look as the rest of a CedarScape playground. MP Tire Swing
The MP Tire Swing is a tire swing on a frame with paired posts at each end. The tire hangs from three chains, so several children can ride together. Blue Imp rates it for ages 5 to 12. Rotator
The Rotator is a curved post with a spinning hand grip at the top. Children hold on and swing around the post. Blue Imp rates it for ages 5 to 12, and it is IPEMA-certified. Arch Tire Swing - 1 unit
The Arch Tire Swing is a single-bay swing with curved arch posts and a tire seat hung from three chains. The tire seat holds several children at once, so it suits group and social play. The posts are 4-1/2" steel pipe and the beam is 5" 11 ga steel tube, finished in a durable polyester powder coat. The overall footprint is about 27 x 32 ft (per Blue Imp). Hybrid Arch Tire Swing

The Accessible Swinging Bar lets children of all ages, stages, and abilities explore their own strength — pulling up, hanging, and swinging from a freely moving grab handle. Its unfixed handholds adapt to different grips, and its ground-level design removes the need to climb to take part, making upper-body play genuinely inclusive. U-Swing
The U-Swing is a swing frame with curved U-shaped posts and a large saucer seat hung from chains. Several children can ride together, and the saucer seat suits children of many abilities. The posts are 3-1/2" 8 ga steel pipe with cast aluminum caps, and the crossbar is 2-3/8" 10 ga steel tube. Blue Imp rates it for ages 18 months to 12 years, and it is IPEMA-certified. It comes as a single, double, triple or quad frame, as an A-frame or arch, and baseplated. It is built to CSA Z614 and made in Medicine Hat, Alberta. U-Sway

Extra Heavy Duty Swing
The Extra Heavy Duty Swing is a galvanized steel A-frame swing frame for high-use sites. It comes with two-leg or three-leg ends, in 8, 9, 10 and 12 ft heights, and from 1 to 8 bays. Arch Swing
The Arch Swing frames classic back-and-forth swinging under bold galvanized-steel arches, with a clean curved profile that anchors a play area. Posts and beam are heavy 3-1/2 inch galvanized pipe secured with tamper-resistant stainless hardware, so it stands up to daily use and weather. T-Bar Swing
The T-Bar Swing is a swing frame with paired centre posts and a beam that reaches out to each side, so the swings hang clear of the posts.
