The Yantzee is a 10-note bass metallophone tuned to A minor. Its low, sustaining notes give a base for brighter instruments to play over, so it anchors most Freenotes groupings.
It is part of the Starter and Deluxe ensembles, and Freenotes offers its Harmony Method lessons for school use.
