The Merry is an 11-note metallophone, a smaller version of the Pegasus, with a bright, cheerful, ringing tone. Its anodized aluminum bars are tuned to C major pentatonic.
It is usually installed next to the Piper, whose fiberglass bars give a contrasting earthy sound, and the two together are part of the Weenotes Ensemble.
