Crossfield, Alberta
W.G. Murdoch School in Crossfield, Alberta, built its new playground with volunteers in October 2022, with BDI Play Designs supervising and doing the site work for Rocky View Schools. The main structure is reached through a transfer station, which makes the deck accessible. BDI prepared and fenced the site, poured concrete, laid black FallSAFE rubber surfacing with EPDM saucer graphics and ProFORM rubber edging, added an asphalt pathway and restored the landscape.
