Canmore Lions Park

Canmore Lions Park is an accessible Town of Canmore playground in Canmore, Alberta, supplied and installed by BDI Play Designs in 2023. A tall Blue Imp structure for ages 5 to 12 has a stainless steel spiral tube slide and a wheelchair ramp, beside the Blue Imp "Blossom" unit for ages 2 to 5 and a "Chill Zone" unit. There is an all-around wheelchair spinner, an Off-Roader, E-Z Spin, Crazy Cup and Chipmunk Rider, and an 8-foot swing frame with belt, tot and accessible seats. BDI set the equipment on 700 feet of welded channel, built in weeping tile and a sump, and added a communication board. An 18 by 24 foot Steel Canopy shelter, designed for Canmore's heavy snow loads, gives families shade and cover for picnics and events. See our Blue Imp page and our shelters.
